Party Supplies
Enjoy this party game fitted to the Wine Tasting party theme:
Guess The Wine: The goal of this game is to guess the wine that you are drinking while you are blindfolded.
Setup:
1. 6 bottles of wine
2. Blind fold
3. 6 bottle bags so no one can see the wine they are tasting
4. Scorecards
5. Pens/pencils
6. Loaf of bread
Playing:
Before the game, you will let each person know that they only get one sip per wine bottle. This will make it very important to really pay attention at all times. Once a person takes a sip, they will write down three guesses. They then take a piece of bread and eat it in order to reset their palate for their next turn.
Keep going one by one until everyone has tasted each of the 6 wines. Afterwards, each person will hand their card over to the person to the right and the host will reveal the answers. Each person will mark the ones that are right and the person with the most right wins.

If this is the first time you are hosting one however, it’s very important you do your research so that you know what you are doing. Each wine needs to be served at different temperatures depending on its type. so you need to make sure you get that right. Food at a wine-tasting mainly includes hors d’ouevres and snacks like cheese and crackers. But you need to identify the appropriate food to be served with your wine. Make the party more interesting by having a theme for your selection of wines at the wine-tasting. And for the ultimate test of your knowledge of wines, why not play a game of blind wine tasting.
