Enjoy this party game fitted to the Curious George party theme:
Curious George Sees, Monkey Do: This is a game that has been around for years. It has recently been adapted to incorporate Curious George.
Setup:
1. Find or create monkey earls, tails, noses, etc. for the children to dress in.
2. Get Curious George themed songs or children’s songs.
Playing:
The goal of this game is to mimic what the leader, Curious George is doing. For example, if Curious George puts his hand on his hip, each child will do it. This can also apply to sounds as well. Kids will be entertained with this for an hour or so.
You can have someone dress up as Curious George, or, you can form clips of the shows where it shows Curious George doing something and put it on a DVD from your computer where you can play it on your television screen.

Curious George Game Ideas
Filling The Yellow Hat: The famous man in the yellow hat is part of this game. The object is to drop items into the yellow hat from a distance.
Setup:
1. Make or buy a yellow hat (large enough so items can drop into it).
2. Get items that can be dropped such as monkey beanies, Curious George cards stuffed bananas and more.
3. Have small prizes for kids to win such as crayons, stickers, etc.
4. Place the hat at a lower point than where you will be standing. An example would be to place the hat on the ground and stand on a deck.
Playing:
Have each child take turns standing above the hat and having 3 chances at a time to toss something into the hat. Each time a child makes it into the hat, give them a small prize. Make sure the items you use have enough weight so they will fall appropriately.
Cute and cuddly with that mischievous glint in his eye- Curious George is everyone’s favorite monkey! For generations, the fun yet educational books and T.V. series has been an intrinsic part of every child’s upbringing. He is adored by kids and parents alike and there could be no better idea than to base your child’s birthday party around the theme. Though there is obviously a huge selection of party supplies available in the market, it might be fun and more rewarding to treat the party as a family project and make a lot of the decorations and maybe the invites at home. Brown and yellow are obviously the colors of the day, yellow hats and bananas being the recurring motif through out the decorations. At the party get the guests into the groove by making a monkey out of each one of them- and I mean literally! Get some toy monkey ears and tails and get all the guests to wear them. And if you don’t want them to monkey around too much keep them occupied with some curious George themed part games.
