Gold, Gold, Who's got the Gold is a simple St. Patricks themed game to play.
Because this is a St. Patrick’s Day game, it is played with a large gold coin instead of a button but it is similar to “button, button, whose got the button.” One child is the leprechaun and he must close his eyes while the gold coin is hidden in the lap or hands of another child. All the children hide their hands behind their backs. The leprechaun has 3 chances to guess which child has the coin. Places are then changed and another one becomes the leprechaun etc. so that everyone gets a chance. Everyone is a winner in this game so lots of party favors and Irish prizes will make this St. Patrick’s Day a great celebration.
