Free Hanukkah Party Game:
Pin the Shamah or Shield
Enjoy the Hanukkah holiday with some fun free party games and activities.
Pin the Shamah or Shield is a simple Hanukkah themed game to play.
Sometimes having something for the kids to do can help any celebration have more meaning and definitely will keep everyone involved in the party. Here’s a great example. This Hanukkah craft activity doubles as a kid’s party game. It is similar to "Pin the Tail on the Donkey" but with a Hanukkah twist. Prior to the party have color paper, scissors, blindfold, and two-sided tape. Once the guest arrive to the party have them start the Hanukkah craft part. This part the adults can get involved with also helping out. Have each player help cut paper figures of a Chanukiah, a Maccabee, a Shamash, and a Shield. Hang the Chanukiah or the Maccabee on the wall. As each player takes their turn, blindfold them and have them try to stick the Shamash on the chanukiah, or the shield on the Maccabee. Use the two sided tape to do that part. The player who gets their figures in the right places wins the game. For the winner, provide them with a small party favor that will help them to remember this special Hanukkah game and craft project.
